The Nylies held an English speech contest on Thursday 13 May. The junior winners were Khodani Mavhungu in first place, Prudence Makwela in second place and Mahlogonolo Monareng in third place. The subjects they could choose from were “future” or “reading”. In the senior category the winner was Omphile Sabushimike (Growth as a signal of change), with Ditheto Motimele second (Is education the only key to success?) and Lesedi Nkgodi third (There is always a better way). Well done!

Die Nylies het op Donderdag 13 Mei ‘n Engelse redenaarskompetisie gehou. Die wenners in die junior-afdeling was Khodani Mavhungu in die eerste plek, Prudence Makwela in die tweede plek en Mahlogonolo Monareng in die derde plek. Hulle kon kies tussen die onderwerpe “future” of “reading”.
